2 John Lloyd Customs Folders. First I'll take it followed by pm. Paypal as gift preferred, USPS money order ok too. Amber Stag Folder HunterThis knife by John is a hunter - skinner in the styling similar to a Case clasp knife,aka "Bulldog". Other variations ,the Tony Bose Yukon Skinner.
This knife is built on the money & is of heirloom quality,with large slabs of amber dyed India Sambar stag. Measures 4-3/8" closed, 7.5" open. Blade is 3-1/8" with 2-7/8" of cutting edge. Blade & spring are 52100 carbon. Liners are ss & mill relieved. Fancy shield is ss, inlaid & pinned,and inlaid at a spot where it is flush & smooth with the stag. Stainless bolster has a satin finish. This knife has the feel & color of bone but the durability of stag.
Perfect 6 pull,pinchable,locks up like a vault ,in the event you dress out a whitetail with it. This is an elegant traditional tank. Deep hollow grind,thin,wicked sharp. Plenty of blade. Handle is so comfortable, yet this folds up compact. Long pull & crescent nail nick,satin finish & a swedge on the blade. Blade centers,spring is flush.

Antique yellow linen micarta handle scales,inlaid & pinned ss Federal shield. Liners are mill relieved/ss. Pins/ss. Excellent fit & finish & blade grind. Awesome walk 'n' talk,glass smooth pivot action. About a 5+ to 6 pull,perfect. Blade centers,spring is flush in all half stop positions. Hollow grind,crescent nail pull,satin finish,on the blade. The blade has a "saber grind" ,like on a Lanny's clip. CPM 154 ss blade & spring. This particular knife is about as well built a knife as you can get.

The Shadow Trapper you've posted is a good lookin' folder. I like em' without bolsters so much better. That's a fine blade profile too. Everything lines up great and is perfectly centered. Not a whole lotta custom folders out there that are as good as that one, especially for the coin.
Every day on this side of the ground is a win.

Not a whole lotta custom folders out there that are as good as that one, especially for the coin. I with you on this one, almost pulled the trigger on it for myself.
