Buddy want's to go get a cow elk. Any place that offers late season tags, opportunities which can still be had?

Wyoming has some left still. At least one spot were they will take you out and hook you up with a cow (I think it's private land so you have to be accompanied by F&G).

NM landowner/outfitter vouchers are usually available till the end of December. Usually they don't want to make them much of a hunt, just drive into the grass, whack one, throw it in the truck and go. I've been able to negotiate some pretty good hunts from these folks.

If he's in Utah with you, I'd suggest you start calling all the CWMUs and see if any have some left. Most give them out in the draw, but some keep a few around. PM sent...
