Hi; Can anyone tell Me if pre 64 Winchester 94 carbines from the mid 1950's had different size front sight beads available? The reason I ask is we have a 1955 and a 1957 Winchester 94 's both in 32 special and the front sight bead on the "55" is noticeably smaller than the "57" which has a 1/16th brass bead.
The front ramp on the 57 has grooves running parallel with the barrel and the 55 ramp is grooved perpendicular to the barrel.
Rear sights are identical 22G 's and 1C elevators.
