Spotshooter: There is a gunscribe on this site that claims there is NO shortage of rimfire ammunition - maybe HE knows wher you can find some? I personally have been in three states and dozens of cities in the last several months and have found exactly NO 17 Mach2 ammunition on ANY stores shelves! I did see some CCI 22 subsonic ammo with fragmenting heads for sale in Butte, Montana last week but the limit was two so I passed on them - I would have had to re-sightin numerous 22's to use it and thought it not worth the effort. I have a pair of 17 Mach2 Varmint Rifles and need ammo myself. If I come across any and there is some left over after that encounter I will let you know. Best of luck to you finding some ammo. I think these guys had some a few days ago. I know they had Mach 2 available. Just have to call them and check and if they will ship. If they just won't ship PM me and I'll try to get some for you.

Found out I could order some (backorder) via Graf and sons.
I have about half a brick, given the HM2's days may be numbered I'll buy a lifetime's amount when they show up. These little suckers are better than 22's on squirrel.
I have a good deal of 22's as well, bricks of subsonic Wolf Match

Spotshooter: Thank YOU for the Graf & Sons backorder possibility! I will call them also. I have a 17 Mach2 story that will make you green with envy. About 2 years ago my retired gunsmith friend here in Dillon, Montana was perusing the mounds of catalogs and fliers he gets every month. He sees an ad for Eley 17 Mach2 ammo from someone (I forget who right now but it could have been Graf & Sons) and the ammo is under $3.00 per box! He bought 10,000 rounds of it and had it shipped to him! I have seen him (on dead calm days!) shoot 5 shot groups at 100 yards measuring UNDER 1/2" with that ammo! One group was just a hair over .250"! He shoots a heavy barrel CZ with 4.5x14 scope. Man o fire do I wish I would have gone in with him on that deal. Hindsight is 20/20 they say.
