SOLD Pending Funds
My brother and hunting partner died, and I'm selling off his guns to help pay his medical bills. I'm in Diamond Bar CA, and the gun transfers will take place at Evan's Gun World in Orange, CA., but I will ship to your FFL on your dime. Payment by postal money order.
I wish I had all the juicy details on it, but I don't. I do know my bro used legendary gunsmiths in Oregon (Darrell Holland) and South Carolina to build his guns and he spared no expense on them. You can bet the lugs were lapped, the bolt face was trued, etc.
$1000. Kimber model 84. 223. I'm pretty sure this gun began life as a 222 Remington and was re-barreled as a 223. Knowing my brother, he used best barrel and gunsmith available. Custom synthetic stock (bedded of course), adjustable trigger. Leupold VX3 3.5X10 w/40mm AO scopeduplex reticle. Harris bipod ready. This is a really cool lightweight squirrel blaster and was my bro's favorite rifle. Having shot with my bro for years, I know this gun is dead nuts accurate.
I've been told there is an Oregon and a New York version of this rifle. For the life of me, I can't find anything identifying which it is, or if this is even true. Maybe you can tell from the serial number, which is readable on one of the pictures.
Included are:
471 fired brass.
Hand-loaded ammo: EDIT: NONE Shipping ammo in California sucks!
