I had posted this down in the classified section, but no results, so figured I'd try here.

I normally have a pretty fair grasp on at least ballpark prices, but not this time.

I have a Ruger 77/22 barrel in 22 LR, and another in 22 Hornet, both blued, no sights.

I removed both to replace the rimfire with a Shilen stainless barrel (squirrel killing machine), and the Hornet became a Shilen barreled K-Hornet.

Both barrels are great condition, no removal marks on either one (pretty obvious to say that on the rimfire tube huh! laugh ).

Since neither will be going back on, but I don't want to trash them, any idea of demand or prices?

Thanks.

I hate to tell you this, but you will be lucky to sell them at all . If you can get 50 bucks shipped then jump on it

A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

Then that's what I'd take. smile

I knew I wouldn't get to retire on them, but it's a shame to just trash them.

The DO make reasonable tomato stakes . . . .

These are a bit skinny, but a gunsmith buddy of mine chops up old barrels and drills them out to use as pillars in stocks.

Can't argue that they wouldn't be strong! cool

Sold a new 243 take off barrel for $25. Wish I would have kept it for that price though.
