Classic! There was a british version I heard about. There used to be a recording (LP record) of the guy, named "Blaster Bill". One of his stories was " A Shower of [bleep] Over Shropshire" Sycamore

Cool story, Never worked with the stuff much but his pencil line was how we put caps in it, and it was amazing what a 1/4 to 1/2 a sick of the stuff will do to a half a car sized rock, set off with a car battery. We over did the first one and blew it all over the mountain side. Shame a fella can't buy the stuff with just a ID any longer.

We were digging my Father in Laws Grave in Matewan WV in the mid 80s, Hit rock in a couple of feet, decided we needed some Dynamite, called down to a local Coal Mines and ask if we could have a few sticks, They said sure..... come and get it... We bored 3 holes with a Breast Auger and rained rock down on the town, almost... got put in Jail, Grave was plenty deep.....

About 40 years ago, there was a certain judge in Tn. that didnt think blowing things up with dynamite was the least bit funny.
Dont ask how I know, but I left for Ms. that day...
