Both of my 300WSM rifles wear 4.5-14x40 LR Leupold scopes with the Boone and Crockett reticle. Both are mounted in Leupold dual dovetail rings and bases. Great setup!

My 300 wsm wears a Leupold 6x36 w/ LRD reticle. It's killed antelope, deer, elk and moose. Probably not the optimum scope for varmints but it rocks for big game.

My 300 WSM is in a Tikka Lite rifle and the scope is a Leupy VX3 2.5-8x36 with a Boone and Crockett Reticle. It is a compact light weight scope with plenty of eye relief.

My 300 RUM has a Leupold VX-III In a 3.5x10. Never felt the need for anything else. Mine also has the Leupold rings & bases.

Check out the Demo section @ Eurooptics. They have some good deals on Zeiss conquest scopes.

Well I've got a friend with a Weaver Super Slam 2-10x50(ebx) on a M70 in .300 wsm, very nice combo. I've got a 6x36 Leupold on My Win Mag, it replaced a Super Slam(the same scope actually). The Weaver, IMO had a little better glass and a really nice reticle, didn't have a lot of mounting length, but works great on a short action(keep in mind my Win Mag is built on a Savage action so it is LONG). The 6x36 is trim, simple and backed by Leupold. Pick your poison...I'd recommend either in a heartbeat.

I like the 3-18 Leupold VX6. Maybe more than some people like but it has about the perfect mag range and I have had good success with it on my 300 wsm.
