I must say, shooting a stationary doe wrong-handed is one thing, especially given the lack of intelligence does along the border have eek, but shooting grouse and pheasants on the wing without a trigger finger would be downright tough. at least for me.

My boys and I got into a buck fight this morning. We all crawled around banging heads! The wife just rolled her eyes as she watched her husband display the behavior of a 5 year old. Ha!

You're supposed to bite the bullet out of a 22 shell, pour the powder into the cut and touch it off with a match.

Personally, I don't bother with any wounds that can be filled with rimfire case capacity.

If it will hold 45/70 case capacity it might be worth fussing with.

lol!

Now where did I put my John Wayne eye patch... grin

Or as ND does, just smack em with a beer bottle. No trigger finger needed.

If'n I run out of shells, I also use that trigger finger to pluck dem dar grouse right out of the air. You can have all my digits but 2...my trigger finger and the associated thumb! Wait, I need my middle finger on that too. Make it 3 I need.

Man, are my kids excited for Halloween. I have a vampire, a fireman, and Bumblebee (a transformer dude). Dentists must love this holiday.

Crosshairs on the windshield, I love that idea!!! Someone has to market that!

Just received this from one of our camp members.

"Just got back from putting corn out. Saw 4 scrapes. Also saw an Elk rub - the 3 inch sapling was broke off about 5 feet up and the rub went up another foot or so. Took a picture with my cell phone."

Went and picked up my deer from the processor tonight. First one I have ever had done. I always used to do them myself. You get older you get lazier.
Found a rifle in the safe that I had about forgotten I had. Pre 1964 Winchester model 94 in .32 Win. Special. Probably need to get out and shoot it some.

The more I listen,the more I hear....and vice versa.

45/70,it's almost a religion.

If you have to take a second shot then you probably shouldn't have taken the first shot.

Sounds like a dandy rifle!

Hey, WTF is wrong with these trick or treaters?

I got 5 jars of spicy pickles, a gallon of pickled fish and 20 cans of smoked oysters and I haven't got a single trick or treater yet.

Just passed this on to the village of Iola. You'll have about 900 Norwegens on your door step tomorrow morning.

Why not? in my younger years, we use to go out trick or treating after the kids were in with a beer mug... neighbors got a kick out of it, if they weren't out doing the same thing...

hit each mug full of beer with a shot of Rose's Lime juice and ya don't have to worry about a hangover the next morning...

I didn't get a single trick or treater.

Dammit.

Yeah sure I'm out in the country but I'm right off a county road now. I mean, you don't even need 4 wheel drive to get up to the house!

Next year I'll put a couple big orange flashing pumpkins out by the mailbox.

Y'all don't get no man card til you get your lady-friend to take loooooong, deeeeeeep, pull off the Tink's 69 bottle.

Let's just say it went a bit better than I thought. Mostly because there was no way on hell I actually thought she'd do it. laugh

Bet I can't get her to do it again.
