Lost my Mom in 1999. She wanted to make it to 2000, but it was not to be.
Alan Jackson was one of my mother�s favorites.
So his voice always makes me think of her.
And this guy and this song.

I lost my mother this past May after a long illness. She was a tough old bird too, never complained. I know how you are feeling.

Sorry for the loss of you Mother. Dang cancer is curse on this country. Sounds like she was a good woman. My best to you and your family.

Wow, condolences on the loss of your Mom, lost mine in 2008, know what you are going through still miss her, and still find myself thinking of calling her to share something.
She is at least at peace now.

Sorry for your loss. It will hurt for a while, then you will remember the good times and smile . . . or cry. It changes from day to day. Please express our sympathies from Arkansas to any family members and friends. We went through much the same with my mother in Sept 2011. Mom was in not apparent pain from her cancer (she found out she had lung cancer in 2005 and elected not have any treatment), but if she was, she didn't gripe about it. Toward the end, she had hospice care for about a month at home, moved into a nursing home, was there for only three weeks and God decided it was time for her to join Dad . . . or maybe she decided and God finally agreed  .
Someday I hope to be the person my dogs think I am . . .
