I thought that was what the Declaration of Independence was. The Declaration of Independence is not law. Maybe you are thinking of the Constitution. I'm not aware of a part of it that compels the government to live by the laws they create, though that would not be unreasonable, unless tyranny is not a concern. Obviously, it hasn't been a concern for quite a while noting the government became royalty longer ago than in this century or the prior.
We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?
