Thinking about upgrading my spotting scope and considering the Vortex 16-48x65 Razor HD. Anybody using one? Opinions? Thanks

I was at a shoot on Sunday and compared it w/ my 20x60 Swaro. The consensus was that it was very, very nice.

Used mine to identify a 6x6 bull at a distance my buddies alpha glass struggled with. Whats that mean? For the price you can't beat it. I also own alpha glass and bought this scope because its an incredable bargin. Just my opinion.

Will compare very favorably with alpha glass until the sun goes down.

Compared very well on our Colorado elk hunt. Lost nothing in the low light. Don't need to justify what we spent our money on. He ran a Tika I ran a custom , is what it is. It's all good.

Bought to pull the trigger on one, trying to decide between straight and angled. Some use will be from enclosed stands with windows or tripods; sitting down scope at shoulder height. Been using a straight Nikon.

Angled Razor HD on the way; now to pick a new tripod. Suggestions? Thinking about the Vortex Summit SS.
