The Senators up for re-election in competitive states in 2014 are starting to panic, though they still aren't offering solutions for anything other than their own growing political jeopardy.

They still don't get it. They are mad it wasn't rolled out smoother and that the site doesn't work. They seem to ignore the millions who lost their insurance and now have to pay substantially more to get new insurance.

It makes no difference. The democrats can do no wrong with the Santa Claus crowd. The criminals who created the ACA will get re-nominated and they will get re-elected. The liberals and hard core democrats will get in line and vote for whoever gets the nomination. They always have and always will.

That is what makes getting a conservative elected so difficult. For those of you who won't vote for a republican because he or she does not pass your every test makes the liberals victory a sure thing.

I hate it. I am really sick of the RINO's sucking up to the liberals. This is why getting the Conservatives elected to the House and the Senate so important. Think of what we could do if we could take back the senate and kick harry reid's @$$ clear out of D.C. Choosing the House and the Senate is as important, if not more so than the Presidency. kwg

Lie #1 and #2-- "I will not raise taxes one penny if you make less than $250,000 per year." and "The mandate is NOT a tax."

Obama and the Democrats passed Obamacare, stating it was NOT a tax. THEN, when the law was challenged in the Supreme Court, the first thing they did was try to state it WAS a tax, and was therefore legal.

He LIED about raising taxes on the middle class. He LIED about the Obamacare Mandate NOT being a tax. He LIED when he stated that you would be allowed to keep your insurance/doctor.

Oh, and for you guys who are thinking about some of the "bronze" and "silver" plans, they only pay docs at Medicaid rates (at least, the BCBS ones in Texas). I know this because the wife is an FP doc, and their practice had a meeting last week to discuss this and the fact that they would NOT be taking these plans.

For any of you who feels this is "greedy", send me a PM and I'd be happy to help you find a new job, with the same requirements/hours/vacation as your current job, but only pays 60% of what you currently make......

There are times, if you want to put it to someone, you give them what they ask for. I'm sill not sure he wasn't smart enough to figure that out.

Kevin, you're not alone in that suspicion. He stated clearly in his decision that it wasn't SCOTUS's job to protect Americans from the consequences of voting for the wrong people.

Maybe so. Obamacare's not really hitting the Democrat (Freeloaders) or Republican (Older/Wealthy) base as much as it is the working middle class and young "healthies". I reckon most of those that voted these guys in ought to be getting kicked off their parents insurance or losing those union jobs about now.

I think there's a lot more to come that the dems won't be able to hide from. The freeloaders on Medicaid won't feel the pinch but the people who get their insurance from the exchanges will even if they are receiving a partial or full subsidy.

The Affordable Healthcare Act in reality is the Unaffordable Health Insurance Act. High premiums, high deductibles, and narrower options for healthcare providers will have negative consequences. There's a whole slew of problems that won't be seen until next year when this all takes affect.

Lies or mistakes? Something untrue can be a mistake rather than a lie. Mistakes happen when we don't know all the facts or misunderstand what we do know. The effects of mistakes may be bad but can be forgiven if there was no deliberate intent to deceicve. Lies are deliberate and meant to deceive, lies must be told to accomplish things that could not abe accomplished if the true were known. BOzo lies without compunction to accomplish what he wants but knows very well that we don't. So do others in his administration, far too many decetful people to even attempt to list here.

* Lied about his plan for an "open" administration and intent to "work with" Republicans to get things done.
* Lied about "focusing like a lazer on (good paying)jobs" while he knew his policies and regulations would force employers to reduce staffing and hire part-time employees instead.
* Lied about not inceasing the cost of living for average Americans while he secretely planned vast increases in fuel and electicity prices, adding to the prices of every thing.
* Lied about "going through the budget line by line to eliminate waste" - so, for some 4 years they made no effort to even pass a national budget!
* Lied about "stopping the revolving door between congress and lobbiests"
* Lied about not letting lobbiests have access to the White House!
* Lied about repesenting "all Americans, not just the 'special interests' - (Like unions, ACORN, health insurance companies, Wall Street, Big Banks, his campaign donors, etc, I suppose.?)
* Lied about "not increasing the national debt one dime."

* LIED - big time - about "reducing the average American's health insurance cost by $2,500 a year" ... when he's actually going to cost some $2,500 MORE, for an actual $5K lie of the average man's insurance increase, and that in addition to higher co-pays and higher deductables for fewer health problems! (But, your momma can have as many abortions and birth pills as she may wish, 'free' and on demand!) All of that while ACA is reducing medical payments to less than actual costs for many doctors. (Forget doctors and hospitals, BO has to have enough money to pay all those bureacrats and set up their nice new offices, you know?)

When Bo's "plan" is fully implemented our medical care will forever be in the gentle hands of those nice gobbermint 'workers' we usually only deal with in the car tag/driver license offices and at airports. All of it over seen by the wise and gracious gobbermint management that has overseen the design of our very pretty present Affordable Care Act's enrollement web site.

And the nice people at the IRS will insure there will be no meaningful monetary 'waste, fraud and abuse' in our health 'insurance' system as there has always been in Medicare and Medicaid; you know, controlled under the same efficent bureaucratic management methods the IRS now so effectively follows with taxes.
