The psychology of withdrawl from either caffeine or pot is very similar in nature. I did ace my senior level "Drugs and Society" class during my college days, in fact I still have my textbook from that class.
Long-term marijuana users trying to quit report withdrawal symptoms including irritability, sleeplessness, decreased appetite, anxiety, and drug craving, all of which can make it difficult to remain abstinent.

theory is great but ive quit both caffeine and pot cold turkey and say thats wrong.....completely different.....no withdrawls from pot.....caffiene is actually similar to coming of opiates just not as bad and alot shorter duration....same sorts of feelings though...headache, skin crawling ect....

It's deadbeats that have lived their life trying to escape reality attempting to explain they have "symptoms" of withdrawal.
You cannot become physically addicted to weed. "Irritability" when you're not high for the first time in 10 years is not withdrawal. It's simply not being high.
Not eating a lot because you didn't smoke pot for 3 days is not withdrawal. It's your body adjusting to a minor change. Same as sleep.

You must drink different coffee than I, it is a [bleep] headache for a couple of days with no Panadol Rapid...or no problems at all with.
but when your dude is out riding his yamaha waveRunner all damn day and you can't get a sack....you will break out the panty hose and slip em over the shop vac and start cleaning the couch cushions, start scrapin the bowls for resin, break out the 'camera bag' and hunt for roaches, etc

thats a fact jack
but thats cause of a mental addiction, not a physical addiction....they want it, their body isnt telling them they need it....its part of their routeen and lifestyle so they want it.....but they aint gonna start shaking and get the chills and hot flashes if they dont get it...
mental and physical addiction are two very different things....if you have the right personality you can get mentally addicted to damn near any sort of routeen....

I semi-like Gaga. Wouldn't pay money to see or hear her, but she's not bad.
She's good singer who was told she'd never amount to anything because she wasn't pretty enough. She said bullchit and started working on building the act/persona. She's arguably the hardest working chick in music. Have to give her that.
