The question presupposes it's our unilaterial choice. I'm sure none of us want a war with anyone but I think you have your question worded wrong; try "Do we lite Iran up before or after they nuke us? Or do we just pray for 'peace in our time' and wait until after they get both Israel AND us?"
Like Germany in '36, it's not like the Persians have never mentioned their determined goals. So, do we have the political brains to read the signs? And do we have the gonads to do something about it? (Yeah, both questions are retorical, I haven't for a moment forgotten who our POTUS is.)

This my emotional response, too. My reality side says that it isn't up to me or our government, it's up to the Iranians and their proxies. I don't think we should provoke a war, but we damned well better not turn one down if they bring it to us. Ed

I don't remember that at all. But you must have been asleep for the last ten years if you don't see the difference in Iran having nukes...they've promised to use them and I believe they mean it. So do their assorted Arab neighbors, et al.
