You simply must have a 458. Owning one reduces the recoil of your other firearms by 30%.

Taking it to the range and actually shooting it reduces the recoil of your other firearms by 60%.

Enjoy. grin confused

They work real well in blowing up gallon jugs of water.

They are fun to shoot; used a 350 grain Speer FP and 70 grains of Re7 for plinking with my WRA M70 African. Loaded down it's like shooting a stout load in a 45/70.

Have a Rigby. Want a Jeffery. I've even gone so far as to buy an M70 in .300RUM to convert.

Well that does it, I just think it would be a lot of fun, going on my list of guns to buy. Besides, I figure if I can't put it down with a .458 Win Mag, I probably shouldn't be hunting it.

.............You certainly don`t need a 458 Win. But you`d like one. There in lies the difference.

Just something new to add to what you already have. Many have cartridges they don`t need but like to own anyway.

The ONLY reason that you need a 458wm is because you can't handle a 500. Buy it, love it, NEVER look back!
