Nice going. What would you estimate for a weight?

He was quite small bodied - I'd say 200lbs or so. The mulie I shot 3 weeks ago was probably +275lbs and he looked significantly bigger.

North of 60, sounds colder than a banker's heart.
Are you staying warm?

Canadians are still doing the tailgate thing at football games right now!
Hell, we don't even pull the ear flaps down until -40 .
At -100, hell freezes over and the Leafs win the cup!!LOL!

Been fussing about the heat wave this weekend that is forecasted(+2!!) and trying to figure out what to hunt with .

Then I realized that I have a new -to me B78 in'06 that needs a scope and ammo- dug around and found a fixed 6 Leupy, some Burris rings, and VOILA! Bore sighted and done!
decided to forego the hand loading and fished out two boxes of vintage 150 bronze Points!!
Don't know WHERE they came from, we were a dyed in the wool C.I.L family.

Sooo, I'm going to zero with them tomorrow, and maybe find some deer to shoot, or maybe even an unsuspecting elk this weekend !:>)
maybe take the 6.5X55 just in case I take a disliking to the Browning LOL!

Got my Mulie buck opening weekend. Looking forward to some field shoots on the geese if they are still around. Temps get too cold ie: -35 and down , I stay inside tying flies and sipping Scotch.

Supposed to warm up a bit for the weekend, might have fire in the backyard pit and a couple of beers after chasing geese.

Cat I will be hunting west of Sundre, 318. Elk is tough but they r around. Some good whitetail though if I put in the time and I am patient.

Had the stomach flu yesterday, so I had to stay home from work. Didn't miss it. After 42 years in justice, a day away from court is a good day. wink Even if you're glued to the terrlet.
