Well another one bits the dust. I didn't think I would be selling this rifle but I have way to many centerfire rifles now. This is a 300 SAUM stainless with a answer brake. These are the best brakes I have ever seen. The fit and finish is great. The rifle is in great shape with a few scuffs from hunting. Has about 65 rounds down the tube. I have dies a little brass and some factory ammo. The rifle has been bedded and the trigger was worked over. It brakes at about 3lbs. The gun shoots great MOA with the 150gr and 180gr ammo. The scope is not for sale. mount and rings will go with the gun. I will take $700 for the rifle, rings and mount. Most of the ammo I have is Hornady custom stuff. I will take $900 for the ammo, dies and brass. Trades would becolt revolvers S&W 686,629 sig sauer pistols kimber 1911 colt 1911 S&W 41 20,28 or 4/10 over/under or SXS shot guns I can + or - cash for the right deal

So, the break was added on? What would the barrel finish up at lengthwise if removed?

Come on Del! I sighted this in for Del when he first got it and it is a great rifle. Accurate, and with the Answer brake it recoils about like a 308 (or less). I believe that the bolt has been trued as well...it is butter smooth and locks up with full contact on the face and lugs. If I didnt already have a Mannlicher in 300mag. this would be mine! You wont be dissapointed!

If you cut and recrowned the barrel it would finish at about 18" to the barrel lug. As I said before you will think the brake was cut to the barrel. You cannot see where it fits to the barrel.
