lookin at burris 2-7x35, vortex crossfire,swift 2-7x40, and sightron 2-7x35. out of these or any other suggestions which is the best for the money? looking for something for my old 243. somethin with decent eye relief and fairly bold reticle

I like the Vortex - prefer it to my Redfield and Leoupold. All are good but I just prefer the Vortex. YMMV.

Maybe if ya get lucky, you can find a new 2.5-8x32 Nikon Monarch for under $250. Either of those four will be fine.
