What are if any a advantage over one or the other im wanting to pick one up in the Tikka t3 hunter and the only caliber i can find is. 243 locally . This would be used for deer/antelope. Would think the answer is perfectly clear by this point.
I am..........disturbed.

Would think the answer is perfectly clear by this point. Why, but of course, but if one was to say "get the 243, cause there are no 25-06's available", that might be the end of this thread and where in that would the fun be? Best, GWB

'SBC,
Are you implying, that Shefire is a Lying Do Nothing Kchunt?!?(grin)
Reality ain't for everyone,as she oh soooooooooooooo eloquently attests...obliviously. Laffin'!
BEST Thread Evah!
rosco',
She's doing "great" and staying within her budget, beings Imagination and Pretend are free.
Still cain't decide which is [bleep] funnier, when The Do Nothing Gang pretends to Live or pretends to Die.
Tough [bleep] call.
Laffin'!
DD,
Your subtle stating of the reduced recoil, reduced cost, reduced action length, reduce drop, reduced drift, increased impact velocity and increased impact "energy" of the 243Win...do knock all the luster offa the Quaterbore.
Well played,I like how you roll.
Gee,
As a 5 Gallon Bucket Ranch goes,do you remove the handles or just let those Dogs cypher it for themselves?!? I reckon it is a rather big moment, when their chains is undid and the lids are taken offa the bucket. Laffin'!
The Texas Version of everything,is just [bleep] hilarious.
Wow +P+!
'nm,
Might you be Imagining to Pretend,a concocted "score" for the Tree Bears?!? Or is it a far safer play,to simply shut the [bleep] up and shuffle around the house in them Tree Bear Slippers?!? I mean it's your Story, tell it however you please.
I'm [bleep] crying...I'm laughing so hard.
You "hard chargers" are a [bleep] [bleep] riot!!!

not .243 or .25-06 related, but your tip on the .300 Weatherby was on the mark. R22 got 165's up to factory claimed velocity, and accuracy is as good or better than anything else. The powder charges? Ummm...way more than books publish

'Cub,
Didja manage to "find" "all" of your pics from this year's "Adventures"?!? I don't need to post old pics to bolster my self image & worth to others. I'll leave that to the fragile/insecure who repost the same bear and deer pics over and over again. laffin'

Whoever told me about 95 grain NBTs.. Ewwwwww, not that again? I give it a "has some potential". Seen 'em work just that one time from a 6 mucka mucka Rem at a good distance, but they worked very well on an unsuspectin' doe.
If three or more people think you're a dimwit, chances are at least one of them is right.

'cal, I hear good thangs about '22 and belted 30's. F&S did a nice piece on the 155 Scenar in same and it sounded promising.(grin) 'Cub, As per always,I enjoy the excuses of your Do Nothing Dumbfhuckery. It is rather [bleep] hilarious, that as [bleep] incredibly Stupid as you are...that you KNOW better than to even try to hang a pic of your crossed-eyes and drooling yap. Bless your heart. In fairness however, you are a literal terror upon plagiarized cartooons, due your "hard charging" ways and as an aside, your avatar is really cool. Laffin'! Cain't wait to hear the "particulars" of all the things you almost did, with all the wares you almost had and from all the places you've almost been. You poor stupid [bleep] couldn't poor piss out of a [bleep] boot, let alone knock the new offa same. Here's to your Imaginations and to just how [bleep] badly you need them. Laffin'! BEST Thread Evah! DD, The astute miss little...much to the collective chagrin of The Do Nothing Gang. Just where do all these dumb [bleep] come from?!? Wow +P. 'gwe, One of these days,I'm gonna get me one of each chambering and see what all the fuss is about. The long action has just gotta have an advantage?!?(grin) SLM, In low light the other morning,I had an unfortunate accident. Due this Global Warming(-26 ambient,at the time),I had the poor luck to step into a Glow Bug nest and the warm temps really riled 'em up. Barely got away. 'bear, As NBT's go,the .243" cited,is far better than most. Shefire, On the average, how loud is your Imagination, when you shoot it? Thought I'd grant you the opportunity,to finally be able to answer something in the first hand. Laffin'!

Your welcome?? Ok. This is fun. When someone's best is still below JeffO, someone has set the bar underground. You are a CHAMPION! P.S. For the incredibly stupid CNA from Oregon I will interpret. "I'm pissed". Or about to piss myself with laughter.
