While I was afield hunting, Cookie went to her camp and exercised the camera. She did much better than I.

If one counts the smallish trash, this was a 7 by 5

They can't all be bucks, and she managed to catch up with the black doe we saw last January. This year she was trailed by a typical fawn on a frosty morning.

This was a 6x7 that unfortunately would not come out into the open for a clear shot.
[Linked Image]

A symetric 5x5 and likely one she saw last season in the same locale.
[Linked Image]

Hard to tell from this angle, but a 4x5.

Not an especially good rack, but this guy was built like a buffalo. I wish we could run him across some scales. He would be a force to be reckoned with.

A typical 4x4 with balanced width and height, and he looks to be in great condition.

And a doe testing the morning air.

Be safe, and have great Thanksgiving out there,

Nice pics. My favorite is that last buck. I've never shot one shaped like that.

Awesome pics! I love mule deer!

That "buffalo" buck looks like he just came from the gym. He should have a caption above his head that says "I lift things up and put them down" lol

I had my chances this season looking for Big Eddy in a different unit, but it ended up being tag soup for me. Still a great year, and I can't wait for 2014.

Thanks for the comments troops,

Great pics. Thanks.

That 5x4 has three brow tines. I still can't figure out why they aren't counted, as they are preferable to most, over a buck with no brow tines and are figured in scoring.
