Since my conquest is down, I am going to put the badger rail on I"ve had for a bit laying around.
I was thinking Burris rings with inserts, but they only offer in Weaver style, I didn't see Picatinny.
Enough difference to matter? 308 Win on a heavy bolt gun FWIW.
I see Brownells has their own picatinny rings too, but was hoping to use the burris insert rings.
Can use badger, but 150 ish dollars, I have them on my 50 but didn't think they were really needed on my 308?
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

I use Z rings on my Picatinny, works great.

I use Z rings on my Picatinny, works great. What's the rule of thumb, Weaver can be used on Picatinny, Picatinny won't fit on a Weaver rail? I believe it's the lug size/clearance.
