Bubbajay,
I was pretty into planes as a kid too. The A-10 was my favorite. They're pretty BA and can carry a big load of weapons. So ugly they're cool lookin. A-10's are BA. Some pretty cool combat videos on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMaQPpgaY4Y Pretty cool to see those bullets hit seconds before you hear the "burp" of the guns. if you hear the burp, it's too late to change your shorts.

Thanks guys! Speaking of A-10's, the range that CharlieFox was speaking of....the route to it from Selfridge Field ANG runs right over our farm. It's pretty cool to see those bad boys with all the gear hanging going over at 1500 ft. The Apache's are pretty bad business too.

Here are a couple of pics from our season.... Two bucks bagged by my cousins on Nov. 15.... Lisa and Trina with our late season Bucks....My 8 pt in the middle We were blessed with good luck and the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors once again.... Well done, SSB! There was a time when no one was shooting deer in the TB zone. You guys are getting after it! Are you in the area of McCormick Lake? I was going to hunt near Avery Lake, but my knees can't handle those ridges anymore. Little did I know I'd pop one and have to climb out of there. I'll take you up on your offer if you allow me to buy the libations. We can hydrate and tell lies about the one that got away. Trina looks very familiar. Did she spend any time on the west side of the state? Will you be going back up for muzzleloader?

Love the A10's. Wish we would have had them in Nam for ground support. Although the old Douglas A1E's did a fair job with their six 50 Cals and rockets. GB- I'll bet that old piston engine was music to GI's ears as well as any downed pilot. Sandys were tough old birds and so were the men who flew them. I believe one received the MOH. GOD BLESS and Thank you for your service!

Saw my first Cobra as it was being off loaded a C140 as I was boarding my plane back to the states.

Woot Woot!!! Yeah, that was a GREAT game. Tying it with less than 5 minutes left, then scoring the GWG with less than two minutes left. At least one team in MN doesn't suck. They still have a ways to go before they are an elite team in the West though.

Since it was during a hockey game, there was beer, crown royal, and venison chilli, the boad approved the "woot whoot" since all other things involved were manly. If I had a mini-van it would have been full revocation for a year.

CFT, my place lies 1 mile west of Avery lake as the crow flies. The Avery Lake ridges end about a 1/4 mile east of my back door. Beautifull hardwood area there and with the acorn crops this year I'm sure the deer were using it pretty hard. Rough country for us old guys tho. We've got 240 Acres in the section to the east of McCormick Lake...off Co Rd. 489. Due north of the gun club a mile and a half.
Trina sells truck accessories and does work a route on the west side. That and we spend a month in Manistee every summer chasing salmon. Who knows...maybe we've crossed paths...lol

The beer, crown royal, venny chili and hockey are indeed manly activities but you would still be in violation if you put on a ladies thong and did the tuck dance in the mirror after said activities. Using the woman term " Woot Woot" after annoucning they are going shoe shopping, girls night out or picking up a herbalife shake for lunch is not far behind a tuck dance IMHO. You didn't lose the card YET but their is definatley a strike against your record! lol

What you do on your time is up to you Rooster. Keep us out of it. Since I'm posting these from a construcion site where we're erecting a steel builiding, I'm actually gaining points. No strikes...only balls.
