I went on a hunting trip with several friends. I had hunted with all of them before except for John. John turned out to be a trooper and it was obvious that John would put in the miles and the work. John got his shot and rushed it. He was not set and the scope knocked him silly. I thought he needed stitches and man did it bleed. He used a huge wad of gauze from the first aid kit to mop it up and it finally stopped. He scored the next day. When we got home and unloaded the truck, I found that big wad of dirty, bloody, antelope hair covered gauze in the bed of the truck. I told John that I would make him a knife. What do you think I used for the handle scales?
