Hey guys, I had a bunch of these made. They are machined bar stock, checked on a granite plate for being flat. They fit all m700s, Ruger SA/LA, Win M70 (push) LA, Savage LA. I believe they will fit all the above makers actions that I haven't listed but not certain yet. If you have a particular gun and are interested get ahold of me and we'll talk.

They slide into the bolt raceways and provide a flat spot for your level. I've fooled around with phony action levels and got sick of it. The raceways IMO are a known spot on the receiver that is flat. By that, I mean they are machined perpendicular, the rest of the action is then indexed off this during production. When you level your action off of the scope base you run the risk of canting your action. Notice in the pictures the raceways are level while the bases are not. If you prefer to level your action when installing your scope this is a great thing to have. It is heavy enough to overcome the bolt release arms (except the ruger which requires a little finger pressure). Pm me if your interested. $47 tyd

I posted this here because I felt like it pertains more to us that shoot long range. Not to say that "short range" wouldn't apply. Most scope manufacturers recommend leveling your action upon installation.
