I need a Lyman 48 rear receiver sight for my 1949 30 06. For a model 70 of course. If anybody has one they would like to sell or trade for please let me know. Thanks!

If you'r unable to locate a 48, Brownells has the 57.

If you are not picky about the adjustment knobs, the coin slotted knob 48's are not as pricey as the target knob models.

Nope I have not heard anything back from him yet. I would like to get would soon. Got a good lookin pre 64 transition with holes in the side of receiver.
