Well it is that time of year again. And here we are at the threshold of CFB's supernova. Hours and days and weeks of nothing but holiday cheer and college football. If you haven't overdosed on eggnog and nachos and CFB by the time this is through you have no one to blame but yourself. Here's the deal, tonight I am going to go to the site and que up the Bowl Pick'em. I'm going to be a bit rushed so I'm laying it out today. The winner will get the $50 first prize and an additional $50 given to the charity of his choice. This year we'll be running weighted games with each and every bowl game in the mix. Assuming the system doesn't screw up and revert to just wins, which they have assured me it will not do. Points for bowl games is as follows: BCS Bowls: 3 points each
Other Premium (Cotton, Capital One, etc): 2 points each
All others: 1 point eachAs of now I have 5 BCS bowls and 5 Premium bowls selected. Barring a last minute change that should be what we go to work with. I will try to get it set up on a weekly basis for deadlines but will have to have it up and running to see if it will do this or revert to KO for each game. If it does that won't be a problem. Your passwords and usernames should allow access after tonight. We shouldn't have to do much adjusting but if you run into trouble send me an email and I'll get on it pronto. The first bowl is on saturday and I know you guys will be rushing around just like me so be sure and get your picks in early. You can correct them later as long as you beat the weekly deadline. Well I have this shebang up and running. You can change a pick up until kickoff but must have a completed pick list prior to the first kickoff of the first bowl game on satruday. The winner is based on the points system I mentioned earlier. And the tiebreaker is picking the BCS champ correct followed by number of games called correctly. Grab it and growl.  Will

My debacle was so bad that it was encrusted with barnacles.

Yeah I say that every year. One note, the pool is considered a different one from the regular season so you should get an email with the different pool name. We may have some guys that slip through the cracks. Let me know if anything goes haywire. Will

Will, the site tells me the pool ID that self populates is invalid. It uses my famous byc name.
What are the pool id and entry code credentials? I'll try it that way.

Yeah we have a couple of issues on this one. Last year I just cleared the standings and kept going. This year I was forced to start a new pool.
Unfortunately we'll be up against the deadline trying to get everyone onboard. Need to get the word out to everyone who played in the regular season so we can get them signed up. I may end up scrapping some of the earlier games if we can't get word out.
Tonight I'll try to get on the site and send an email. See if they will let me carpet bomb the roster with an email. May have to do it individually.
