Never used them myself but I can't dispute the results I have seen others have with them. The design is hard for me to wrap my head around but the 20 or so deer killed by friends over the last couple of years speaks for itself.

Cottonstalk, that's exactly the dilemma or complication with this. The success folks have is undeniable. However the ability to get my head around the mechanics is confusing!

It's hard to accept the internal devastation trumps external blood flow. This may be legitimate in this design? The rage, and the nuke, slice their way in which does leave a gaping wound. Fired with lighter arrows they don't exit as often, but at least they have the big gash on one side.

One issue that people don't describe but is a real condition, blood spray from mouth and nose. Lung hit game will very often spray blood out the snout while running. I've seen this countless times with bullet hit game as well. It's difficult to find the bullet hole but plenty of blood to track just from mouth and nose.

Of course this requires a double lung hit, single lung hit game does not do this all the time. With one good lung, the blood does not always flow out the snout the same way.

I used to only shoot muzzy 3 blades. After seeing the results of several deer a buddy shot he talked me into trying them. I am sold as we have great results and blood trails.
I have been shooting a matthews rezon with maxium 350 at 306fps. His hoyt is shooting them about 290. We have all had pass through and for me results make me a believer. Ill try to get some picts up later.
