This belongs in the "medium" range forum but since there's not one I'll stick it here.
I can't say that I'm totally satisfied with Leupold performance. I've had too many zero shifts and tracking errors to feel totally confident that the bullet is gonna hit where it should. But weighing other factors, and knowing most all other scopes have the same reputation (even more so), with the exception of a few heavyweights, I'm still using Leupold.
I started with the target turret and moved away from it in favor of M1's and CDS.
Coming full circle I am back to the target turret. I have grown to desire a capped knob. I like the confidence of not worrying about it moving, especially with the lack of a zero stop.
The tall target knob with long index marks also allows you to easily index yardage with a sticker and sharpie in less than five minutes. Its not permanent and you are not married to it. The MOA index marks can still be utilized to boot.
The wide horizontal crosshair starts at 4 MOA and gives a vague reference for windage. I wish Leup would add MOA indexes on the windage of a standard duplex as an option.
