I recently received from my father-in-law half of his gun collection. For health reasons he is unable to use them anymore and wants them to go to good use. He wants me to keep several and sell some for him. He purchased all of these rifles in the mid 90's and never shot them! He would visit the gun shows in Virginia and Pennsylvania looking for guns with beautiful wood stocks (that was his main determination for buying a rifle). All of the guns have been stored in gun socks under a train table for the past 15 to 20 years. Just my luck, I am left handed and several of the wood-stocked rifles have a high cheek weld design that rolls over the top of the stock and leaves a sharp edge on the right side (very uncomfortable for a left-handed shooter).
Here is a list that I will be posting when I get a chance:
1. Midland 30-06 - 2100 Deluxe, made in England by Parker Hale 2. Weatherby Mark V deluxe, 300 wby mag, made in Japan. I have two, not sure which one I am selling yet 3. Weatherby MKII 22lr. I have two, one is clip fed the other is tube fed. Not sure which one I am selling yet 4. Savage 110 Premier 30-06. Looks a lot like the 270 recently posted for sale here 5. Colt AR-15 new in original box. Model 6551, purchased in 1994 and just put in storage (b/c of Clinton). 6. FEG AK-47 new in original box. Model SA85M. Hungarian model, regarded to be one of the highest quality AK-47 variants (and 390 rounds of ammo available) 7. Remington model 572 BDL 22lr with maple stock. New in original box, tube fed 8. Marlin model 781 22lr. Bolt action, has some non-fancy 3-9x40 scope on it
I also have two Ithaca LSA-55 deluxes (made by Tikka) in .243 and .308, a Colt 6700 AR-15, and a Grendel 22wmr pistol with 3 mags. Still on the fence about selling these.
I am trying to get the Midland 30-06 posted tonight.
And none of these guns comes with a bipod (had to do it!).
Thanks

Lots of PM's coming in. I appreciate them and will answer all ASAP. I am working on the Midland posting right now and should be done in 30 minutes, then I will try to take pictures for the PMs. Thanks!

It is irrelevant what you think. What matters is the TRUTH.

As to why I didn't post pics and prices, please see my other post I just did on the Midland 30-06. 24 pictures with full info. That one post with all the pictures took 1.5 hours. That's why I was just giving a heads up....

That's why I was just giving a heads up.... Hey, that's a heck of a detailed post. I'd much rather see a very detailed and heavy pictured oriented post than one w/out enough information. You know guys are going to ask a ton of questions and pictures are king. Cool to give a heads-up for the guys that are seriously interested. Nice job on the posts. Keep up the good work. I appreciate well-thought out for sale ads.

I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA
