I think SW ND may be on tract for a season next year; sans another bad winter. Neat goat at 17 sec.

A couple years ago, we drove past a hay field that must have had 3 to 400 antelope along with maybe 50 mulies. We kept moving until we were out of sight so I could stop and get my camera out. On the way back to take some pics, some idiot stopped and GOT OUT of his car to look. I only got pics of a bunch of white tails going over the hill.

here are a few that were slower getting moving.

In this country when we have heavy snow and pronghorn get on the move, one will see them single file stretched over a mile or so.

On those that hop out of the rig for wildlife photos, it's good that Cookie doesn't pack iron, as there would be a few dead photographers out in this country. Some of the "pros" are the absolute worst at ruining shots, and at times I think it's intentional to keep others from acquiring something of equivalent quality.

Nice pic and thanks for posting,

In Ft. Peck Montana, one winter we hauled over 300 Antelope out of the stack lot, that froze to death. There was dead Antelope everywhere.

Some years ago, we had a nasty winter with lots of snow. A herd of antelope north of here bedded down on a railroad track where trains had cleared some of the snow. Killed 120 in 1 whack. They had to close the season in that unit for several years to let them repopulate.

I hope not. From what I've seen driving through, the population is still way down.

North Dakota numbers are up from last couple years but still down quite a lot. We have a lot of winter left and a lot of cold weather coming so hopefully they will make the winter. Is that over by Rhame North Dakota?

This goat teased me all summer long. He seemed to always just stand about 50 yards off one of my locations about everyday when I was checking wells. Would have loved to have a tag and my bowtech with. Its tough to tell from the picture but his diggers are huge.

Heres a kitty that was seen 3 times during the summer down south of marmath just off one of my locations. Hes in the middle of the picture. Matches in pretty good

Nice country south of Marmarth. ND has a few BCs but not enough. I have called for coyotes in that country and had a bc on two separate occasions sneak in behind me unseen.
