Anybody have some real life experience with the Hella brand (Norway) or Mora (Frost's, Sweden) fixed blade knives?

I have one, laminated SS, good quality similar to Finnish Martiini pukkos.

I have a couple low cost Frost knives that are far better than the cost would indicate. One's stainless and lives in my boat. The other has about a 3.5" blade and is always in the truck. They're cheap enough not to worry about theft and the edge stays sharp through a fair amount of use. Ward

I use and like several knives from Frost's, K.J. Eriksson, Helle, Jarvenpaa, Karesuando, and Brusletto. A few favorites are the Frost's stainless "Clipper", K.J. Eriksson "Mora 2000", Helle "Harding" and "Polar", and the Karesuando "Raven".

i much like brusletto and karesuando. seems the scandinavians figure a knife is for slicing, dicing, maybe a little light carving - and no hacking. axes have the hacking job.
