Already entered, drew for 2013 so I think I used all my luck up, but it's worth a try.

Since the cost is negligible I enter every year. But I'm starting to believe if I really want to bag an elk, I'll have to go west.

I know the feeling! I've put in every year with no luck. I did get out to Montana last year and was lucky enough to tag a cow.
I'll get drawn eventually here. Lots of anticipation until the drawing. Maybe this will be my year!
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!

Good luck to all, including me.
If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

Warm weather, almost no predation, heck of a herd. Have you seen the bulls that come out of KY? A no brainer to apply for, good luck to everyone! Hope to see you there..

Yes I did see some of the bulls there... I was 120 yards from a 6x6 that just left me grinning like an idiot. Of course that would only happen when I have a cow tag.

That's a nice looking cow. How much meat did you get out of it? I'm hoping to have one on the ground later this year.

Where did you end up finding that one at? My family has a spread over in Knott County, its got a bunch of elk on it, and has pretty good road access from mine and gas companies working the property over the last decade or so. So I'm hoping I can draw this year, and won't have a hard time with finding one.
