Got a BRB Tactical BR15 for my birthday.

http://www.brbtacticalsystems.com/BR-15-M4-16-17-OD-Green_p_70.html

(TY Pop's you're AWESOME!I told him he's good for presents to me for the rest of my life, hard to top this, aside from him already being the ideal of what it means to be a father.)

5.56/.223 16" 1:7" twist

(W/OD furniture, love the OD for some stupid reason.)

What rounds are you guys with similar setups having luck with?

The 1:7 should accommodate any weight 223 bullet.

I agree; heck, even 40Ballistics shoot like crazy in the 1:7" twist.

Frankly, I've not run into a single halfway appropriate bullet that my two Noveskes don't absolutely LOVE.

I fully realize that it is popular to poo-poo the 1:7" and champion the 1:8", but my experience has been that the 1:7" is superb with all bullet weights.

7 twist gives you alot of rope. If going LR heavier is your huckleberry. Mag constraints will normally keep you from kissing lands but there are alot of great choices. Hornady, Berger, Sierra, Nosler, etc. etc.

While I am fairly new to the party I am having spectacular results from my 7 twist Colt barrel with Scenar's (lapua)
