Adventure Tech by Propper. I don't think they make them anymore. The Cat's Meow by North Face is THE standard for 3-season synthetic bags

Nothing wrong with Wiggys' bags, but they are probably a pound heavier than a Cat's Meow. Are they more durable? Probably.

I liked the Cat's Meow but froze my flat butt off anything colder than 35- degrees! Might keep you alive but not comftorble at 15!

If that is the case, then one of the following is the cause:

1) You are part reptile or a female (the women's CM is rated at 32F, same bag cut for a female)

2) You have a bag that has been left stuffed in the stuff sack and stored that way. Guaranteed to kill loft and warmth, every time.

3) You had inadequate insulation UNDERNEATH you.

I don't know how lightweight most would consider it but I have been very pleased with my Cat's Meow.

Got that in the 6'6" wide version. Seems warm to about 30 for me but could always leave the wool on. Very light.

You got one? I keep reading over and over from the less-than enthused that if you want a 20F bag, buy the K-0 Slick.

The only K-bag I've owned was a 40 MOB, I moved it along. A poncho liner was nearly as warm.

I keep eyeballing the Enlightened Equipment Prodigy quilt. I hope he doesn't have any sales soon, can't really afford one right now.

Big Agnes for me. Pick the one that fits your body. Enlightenment for above freezing. Farwell or something else for under.

I'm currently rocking a Mtn Hardware Lamina 35 for a summer bag. I guess you could call it a 3 season. Where I play in the summer, overnight lows are low 40's, high 30's. Once it gets into September I pack the WM Badger.

Both bags are in 6 foot plus lengths, and roomy for my 200 pound Irish ass.

After seeing a Z-packs quilt in action, I'll wind up with one before next summer, I'm sure.

Yes, that's what I said.

Wes that used to post here until he got flamed for his opinions on Kifaru packs has one. I also tried on his McHale pack, it's awesome.
