At what range does parallax become a concern for hunting? Im looking at a zeiss 3.5x10x44 and a leupon 2x12x42. Neither have a parallax adjustment, would this be a concern for shots under 500 yds, mostly in the 300 to 400 yrd range.

For big game, it probably won't be a problem. To those who insist on small groups and whose eyes find some in the scope, it could be. There are a couple of ways to deal with it. One, is to use less magnification. At 6X, I suspect you'll have less than at 10X or 12X. With a Leupold, you can have it reset to be parallax free at 400 yds. This might make your 100 yd. groups a bit larger, but it would mean smaller groups at 400-500 yds. E
