Hi,
My lgs has a Savage 99 in 284. The gun is in 95%+ condition. What are these rifles going for? He has $925 on it. Is he way out of line or are they worth that much. Thanks.

I just recently bought 2 of them, one was a 99c between 90-95% I paid 850 for it and a DL that is about 80-85% I paid 829 for that one. Neither one came with a scope or bases.
Whats an lgs anyway?

Local gun store. Sorry thought it was a common enough abbreviation. This one is a C model. I guess I'll go for a second look tomorrow. He usually comes down $50 to $75 if you pay cash.

It's all about condition!!! An F or DL in excellent condition could bring that. Especially if it has cut checkering!
Some pictures would tell a lot...

If it is really 95%...I'd say 925 is a good price.
Condition is everything

What he said. I have been trying to find that right one, but they keep eluding me.
