Just got in from blowing snow with my cub cadet. No cab and 0 degrees. I decided to try out my new parka, bibs and boots.

I was out there for 2 1/2 hours and I'm sweating like a feverish moose in a sauna! Holy crap that stuff is WARM!

I had to break the blower out this morning. Only had an inch of new snow, but the wind had a ball with the 10" we picked up earlier in the week. More snow on the way Saturday than again Monday and Wednesday. At this rate I'm going to have to bring in a truck and loader to haul it away.

I was over in the Western part of the state Thursday and the trip home was not fun. Total white outs from the blowing snow across Hwy 29.

Looks like it's going to miss us, yeah.

I need to get the snow rake out today and pull as much off the roof as I can.

Bill,

When you post your weather reports, I can't help but notice that your weather patterns are nearly identical to ours here in west central MN.

Just like when I spent a week in Brookville, PA for work. I learned that the guys I worked with paid attention to the weather in Fargo because whatever Fargo was getting they usually got 2 - 3 days later.

I find that fascinating

Thanks for sharing Rooster. What ever weather you get, we normally do get about 6 - 8 hours later.

Did pull quite a bit of snow off the roof on the North side. I use a 6' step ladder a 16' snow rake. Not fun. The worst was the flat roof over the porch.

Well I would certainly think so. I've seen your work on here. Good luck on your new endeavor!
