Snipe pod 13" and a taller sitting pod. Together they weigh half that of a Harris and take up half the room.

And are half assed. May as well use shooting sticks and not bother with the snipepod

13-25" harris is my vote if I had to choose one. I use others as well.

And I dont knock stuff without giving it a fair shake, sticks are just as stable(meaning not very). they are so flimsy/cantabile that a tight sling using your elbow in prone is just as good..my opinion of them after using them.

I use both Harris 6-9's and 9-13's, depending on the vegetation in the terrain I hunt. I prefer the BRM models, with the notched legs and add a KMW PODLOC to remove cant.

Luck....is the residue of design...

Harris all the way, the length depending on the terrain. I really like the 6"-9" swivel/notched where I can use it and as Pat says add the KMW pod lock. I have upgraded my older bi-pods by adding a "speed wheel" tightening screw (the new ones come with it)

13 inches can leave you in the brush, the 13-25 don't need notched legs to level and they have friction tighteners that you can set the legs for any height to 25 inches. A 13 inch bipood wouldn't have worked here, the shot was over 450 yards...

Depends on the rifle I'm carrying. If I'm using a LW rifle, I really like the Snipe Pod for sitting shots. If I can go prone I often rest over my pack.

I liked the longer bipods but got tired of carrying the extra weight on the rifle. Now I just use sticks.

If I had to pick one bipod though, it would be the Harris 13-25.

It's still in my gear box.
