Sell the 'donor' and buy a ready made complete rifle.

Select a rifle hunting cartridge that is "Enough Gun" and not one designed to just wound the enemy!

.308 is never a bad choice.

It is the 350 Chevy of the cartridge world. Some are faster, some are slower, but the 350 Chevy/.308 just plain gets it done.

THE CHAIR IS AGAINST THE WALL.

The Tikka T3 in .308 Winchester is the Glock 19 of the rifle world.

The website is up and running!

I would be adding an uberfast .224 to the pile a la 22 CHeetah, 22-243, 22-250AI, 22/6mm or even the 22/6mm Rem AI'ed! THAT one, would be some kinda smokin sum beesh. One of the few fast 22's I have yet to play with.

Ross Seyfried's gunsmith, Jim Rector in La Grande Oregon, has the reamer for the 22/6mm regular and AI and he builds quite a few match capable 1,000 yard rifles in those calibers.

Another vote for a lightweight 1-8 twist .22-250. They are a different beast from the factory 1-14's.
