Hey Goalie! How about that Kuemper! Beatin those world champs! Awesome. Sad that the shutout got blown with a half-minute left though. Did you see where Kane had to put that shot to score even though it was back-door????? He was really not-good his first several NHL games. It makes one wonder just how many goalies just needed some time to get rid of the butterflies but never got more than a few game shot in the show?

In South Carolina we used to have check in stations for deer killed. They got rid of that ten years or so back. Now we don't have any type of notification required. When I lived in Georgia the DNR would send each big game license holder a form at the end of the year to fill out and return to them regarding deer kills while hunting. Back tags??? We have to my recollection never had such here. B,man, I would like to hear the rest of the story also. Group PM in order or can you do that on this forum?

If you have to take a second shot then you probably shouldn't have taken the first shot.

I completly agree with you. I've not been a fan of Backstrom and we knew Harding was on borrowed time as far as playing. MS can be pretty agressive with some people. If he doesn't come back, he can go out knowing he was the best in world this year.
I'm hoping to see that version of the Wild from here through June.

If anyone wants to hear the story on that day from people hunting next to it, let me know. I dunno if I should post it here or not. I suppose I could private message it or something. Suffice it to say, the story starts a year before and it does not start with Chai Vang. I would like to know as well

Our clan wasn't too far from that either really. It was a troublesome day in the WI deer woods for sure. That was a troublesome day for hunters everywhere. I remember the sick feeling I had in my gut when the reports started coming out about what happened to those men

Add me to the list.
My late brothers property wasn't all that far from where it happened. Two of our camp members live in Rice Lake and knew the victims.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I typed up this big long story and then tried to submit it to the group without a subject and lost it all. Then I retyped it and tried to add j elky and lost it again! when you hit "back" you lose what you typed!
I will do it again, and copy the dang thing before i do a dadgum thing this time.
By the way, go to widipedia and search for Chai Vang for the story that was told in the media. It is a good refresher.

I'd like to hear it too, BM. We have 750,000 +/- hunters in the woods opening day and there's a large percentage who carry a sidearm with extra mags because of this. I may or may not be one of them. I wish we had deer checks. Our DNR has no clue how many deer are harvested or how many deer there are to begin with. Makes managing the herd a guessing game. We got rid of back tags many years ago. I don't know what good they are although you know at a glance if a guy has a valid tag or not. Funny, hunting coats and vests still come with that holder on the back so you don't have pierce the fabric. My mom used to sew those on for us back in the day.

I figured I'd wait and see if you'd post it publicly first, but if you're doing a group PM then I'd be interested as well.
