Nh ss featherweight in a 270 wsm 7 digit w/2.5-8 Leupold. I did put the scope on the rifle I might change the rings and bases and go with some talley lightweights. My lucky day smile

One man's junk is another man's treasure. Nice rifle however, just no interest in a "Short Magnum" for myself.

Nice rifle, everyone has their own tastes. Some people just don't have the ability to keep their negative comments to themselves. Let us know how it shoots.

Brian Pearce just did a article in hand loader on the 270 wsm as well. I'm sure with 140gr accubonds it will kill something

I just didn't see a price you paid for the rifle (in the OP), so I didn't know if it was truly a "good find". That's always one of the factors involved in the "good find" equation. Nothing wrong with the rifle. Probably the last year USRAC production (2006) judging by the serial number. Let us know how she shoots for you.

Lol $480 bucks the guy said he kept dropping the price cause he couldn't sell it. The 7wsm stainless I snagged almost the same thing... I'm figuring either 05 or 06 due to sn as well. My 7 wsm only 5k from this one and it is a shooter with 139gr hornady's.
