Personally, I carry a gun because I'm too young to die and too old to take an ass whoopin'

Not bad! From a fellow "Michigander"! I wouldn't even turn down some fresh killed venison. Hate to drive by and see them go to waste!

Downstate we generally troll for road kill.
Tie some bedsprings to the bumper hitch of the Chebby and drive down the shoulder of the road at 10 mph.
Get home and throw the bedsprings on a bonfire.
The fresh roadkill is BBQ. The older, riper roadkill is BBQ with rice.
I am a conservative with a lowercase "c".

When my wife was student teaching in Ohio, (no Michigan jobs) there was a biology teacher that cooked roadkill at the school...to eat.
Some guy whines about a bullet's action leaving bloodshot meat but roadkill "wasn't busted up too bad"
Am sticking to feeding the ravens...:)

Best time for road kill is early spring. You drive the roads and pull over when you see an ear sticking out of a snow drift, That way you know the venison was flash frozen and the eagles and ravens haven't eaten the best parts yet.

Well, she may be skinny, but powerful...:) The hats were a hit... I'd like to buy another... Will pick up enough pop bottles to buy you lunch between now and then. [img:left] [/img]
