That is SO nice! Are those the original barrels? Doesn't look like it's been sleeved.
I'm always glad that Hill Rod & Gun is closed when I'm in town: It saves me money... to spend in Big Timber.

First one is a simple Rem. 870 Super Express which is the beater goose gun. Second one is a Rem. 870 Wingmaster. The banded goose is one I shot this year in Colorado. It was a non typical migration, it was banded in Alaska in 2003. [img:left] [/img] [img:left] [/img] [img:left] [/img]

NOT an easy gun to find! Any LEA or military markings on that one?
Was Mike Armstrong. Got logged off; couldn't log back on. RE-registered my old call sign, Mesa. FNG. Again. Mike Armstrong

NOT an easy gun to find! Any LEA or military markings on that one? This was my "Grail Gun," and I found it after years of saved searches on Gunbroker. No military markings and the buttstock finish was flaking off in large pieces, which is why I could get it at a reasonable price. I carefully sanded and refinished the wood with a hand rubbed oil finish. If you like riot guns, the Remington 31 is a great one.

I see where you got your inspiration. Seems you were trying to mirror the shotgun cost to accoutrements selected ... just about nailed it.

Yes they are a dedicated frame. Mine weighs 6-10 and with 28" tubes is about as perfect as pheasant gun as my A5 Sweet Sixteen made in Belgium is.
