I'll say the man knew quality when he saw it. Very nice collection.

I would be all over that rifle like a chicken on a Junebug! No finer deerblaster could be had, IMO. Looks like about $1500.00 worth of model 70 to me, if you can get it for $1,000 or less grab it and go!
If you get the K Hornet rifle, and do not have a lot of use for it, I would love to trade you out of it. Yep, he'd love to Shyster you right out of them.....

They ain't worth much. Appears from the pics they've never been hunted seriously. No trophy scars or nuthin'.... Pretty much worthless.....

I doubt the unertl scoped gun is swift as it has a metal buttplate, I have an early 59' Varminter in swift and the buttplate is composite, I will have to check my 56' varminter in .243 but I think it is composite as well. Whatever the unertl scoped gun is I am very interested, would also like a shot at the mod 43, it looks like after factory dill and K chamber but that is OK, it still holds value, these old codgers did not mine doing them up just like they wanted, damn being collectible and I love that fact as well,I also love the fact that you can probably get the guns history from the original owner.I was able to get an unfired since factory .264 Westerner last year and love it so I am not interested in it but you can bet it will move fast..and bring the money! very best Win Poor

Could also be an .30-06 Target. Also nice. Jack

Dog dam it gets better, the mod 43 K hornet is the Deluxe ! The Unertl scoped gun is NOT a Varminter with that straight combed stock maybe a Target in a sporter stock. You can bet your last nickle this guy loved Winchester as we do ,was a shooter and knew how to keep care of his baby dolls! No dam telling what the smoothbore .22 will do but it will make someone smile! very best Win poor

I clarified a few things with my friend. He has two .22 Hornets. The model 43 is an original .22 Hornet while the Mod 70 with the 10 power Unertl scope is the .22 K Hornet. He is taking the rifles to a dealer who specializes in old Winnies to help with pricing and will get back to me. I personally would like to buy the .264 Win Mag and the Mod 70 Hornet. We'll see if he prices them in my wheel house.

BUY! BUY! BUY! Why doesn't anyone ever offer me rifles like these? Kinda what I was thinking. Everything shown in this thread looks sharp. And from a left hander no less...
