Doesn't really look like the south but according to the sign, it must be.

Looks the same, 231 south which makes sense. I lived within 20 miles of there for about 9 years and saw snow several times. http://markwallheiser.photoshelter.com/image/I0000XzNY.usjXhE

Not sure exactly, but this is happening all along the western panhandle. I'm about 45 min from Pensacola and have about 2 to 3" of ice/snow in my yard.

When back home in Alabama, that is one of my favorite stretches of highway, takes me on down to Panama City, and on the way to beach front there is a place that makes some excellent BBQ, which I just have to have a taste of every time Terrible thing to say, but I wish I was there for the snow

That sign brings back good memories when I was going in the opposite directions.

snow happens here every so often. Never lasts long though. Worst I saw in my fair city, was in '96, when we had a couple of inches on the ground.

They show them spraying the orange trees sometimes in the Spring to make them Ice over because that keeps them warmer than leaving them exposed to much colder air which will kill the crop. Weird but true.

Opposite of Northeren. Also kinda like sisteren as opposed to brethren. Its Hillbilly dialect spoken fluently below the mason dixon line.

I have a Grandson living in south Georgia, he's a good Colorado boy so he's used to my weather but says it completely different there. Somehow the cold hurts more.

I think it is a damper cold, if that makes sense. It was 20ish here when we went to TX for Christmas, and low 20's when we were in TX and we both agreed that it felt colder in AL. Always seems that way.

Can much depend on WHERE you have 20 in TX too... I know at home here, 20 feels colder than a few hours north in the hill country.

As a kid in Alabama, I couldn't understand that when a dusting of snow came around, the frikking stores would be out of bread, milk, and eggs. Still cant understand that thinking. I reckon they have been watching too many movies.
