The creamy green snot jello infections have been in our house since late December. With the little man living with us now its a new round every week brought home from day care . Antibiotics get you feeling betterbut never completely over it.

Daycare is a perti-dish of sickness! When the kids were in it, I don't think I was ever not sick. It sure seemed like it anyway.

I think I kicked my cold. It wasn't looking pretty for a couple days but now I'm fine. Wife is still sick.
This is how it's been ever since I started getting the flu shot. My cold's don't ever last more than two days and never get severe.....knock on wood...

Rooster, do you have a recipe for Groundhog stew? The rodent is predicting 6 more weeks of winter. Who'd of thunk?

Same here-they are the bullies of the neighborhood. They actually roost on my neighbors roof. They fight with the crows over roosting space in a big pine tree across the street. The crows are the only thing that can run 'em out. They kind of guard that pine tree, cuz they'll be nesting in it again this spring, as usual.

Looks like a fine weekend dave! I thought about driving out today but got stuck doing other things again.
It is a silly fish that is caught twice with the same bait!

Dave what kind of rig was that on the sauger? Looked like a slip bobber but the spinner blade has me confused. I use crawler harnesses with blades but can't think of a ice rig I have seen with a blade that size.

I love the shot of Einer looking down the hole waiting the fish to come out. Cute little mutt you've got there, Dave.

Similar to this one.

Geeze...I was just thinking it's been 5 years since I fished up there. How in the hell did the time go by like that?

I cant remember, they came long and I measured and cut them to a good length with the house set down on the ice.
I used a cordless dewalt circular saw right out on the ice to cut them to length.

Thanks Dave I never saw a jig quite like thar but can see where it would work. it ought to flutter real good on the drop. I envy you guys. It is a 3 hr drive to Erie to fish big water plus the wait at the airport to fly out to the island to fish Put In Bay, and we haven't had dependable ice for several years.
