My buddy has 2 Anschutzs 22 lr.
One is called the chuckster it is small like a youth rifle.
The other one has no # on it.
They both have rails to mount scopes on but we are having a hard time finding rings for it. Does anybody have any experience with these rifles. Thanks in advance

Most of them use standard rimfire tipoff rings. some of the earlier Anschutz rifles(say pre 1960) have a narrower dovetail and rings are hard to find for those. My 1963 vintage and early 70s rifles both used standard rimfire rings, Redfield, etc.

The guns must be pre 60 because the standard ones don't fit.
Which ones would I need.

If it's a Woodchucker, it was made from 1988 to 1990 and distributed only by RSR. IIRC, the .22 LR version uses the 2000 action and the .22 Magnum uses the 64. This was a tiny rifle with a 16" barrel.

If either of them are early rifles, you might try BKL rings. They work for most all dovetail widths. Even on newer rifles some rings don't fit well due to the receiver radius.
