As you can tell I am still having trouble with photo uploads. This time it gave me a web site that has the photo. What free upload web site do other member use and do you use the url instant ubb code or upload the photo from the photo site?

Great looking rifle.
Is this the one SalmonSlayer bought on the web about 3 years ago, when I was low on cash? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> (If so, has JC sent the letter yet? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> )
Your picture of the top of the receiver is a great example of "no stripper clip slot", an uncommon feature. A 26" barrel is as rare a feature as I can think of.

I've never seen that style of factory installed front sight on a 1920 or 20/26 and I've never seen a factory installed 26" barrel on a 1920 or 20/26. All 20/26 rifles were cataloged with 24" medium weight barrels, but I don't know the date or SN with the clip slot were 1st omitted and the front sight configuration was changed.
Nice looking piece. How does it handle with the longer/heavier barrel?

Rem Guy, the Model 20 handles very well with the longer heavier barrel. The gun weighs approx 8 lbs. It shoots 97 points on a regulation target at 100 meters with either 5 or 6 holes in the X ring. It really likes 85 grain Nolsers over 36 grains of Reloder 15. I have saved some of those targets, as I was also very pleased with the results. Also recoil is very mild with that load in this gun off sandbags. web page

Very pretty rifle, looks like a Snake Oil shine on her. Did you use some or are you lucky enuff to have that much original finish?

I have lots of 1920s and 20/26s, as they are 1 of my favorite things. I'd like to see a picture of your whole rifle.

Just getting caught up on the forum and noticed your post. Can't believe that I missed it earlier. Very nice 20. I am very interested in the Lyman 54. Can you possibly take pictures from the right, left ,rear and another from the top. If you prefer you can send them to my e-mail address jstierle ptd.net. Thank you. Jon
