I am guessing that your choice means either of the items are $395. I will say that elkivory is a good dude to do business with.

I used the term to let the seller know that I was interested but to expect a PM to get more information...we did not come to terms but I thanked him for his time an attention....bearit....

No you didn't.
We are not as stupid as that.
you were attempting to hold up the seller by making other potential buyers think the scope was sold.
Play your fkin games elsewhere dead beat.

What is this "tag" BS? Where did it come from? Wouldn't the PM let the seller know you were interested? That is NOT the impression I get when I read this "tag" BS. It is aimed at other possible buyers, not the seller IMO.

I don't think anybody needs a "warning" to receive a PM. "Brace yourself, you may have a PM incoming." crazy

"I'll take it" ain't broken, why try to fix it? JMO.......

bump for a good deal from a good seller. i've seen the zeiss sell for more than the asking price.

and fwiw, i assumed "tag" was a smartphone typo for "take".

The term "tag" is nothing to get excited about. I take it to mean that you have replied to the post in a totally insignificant way so you can click on "your posts" and find it later, if you decide conditions are right to move forward with an offer.

"Tag" makes it makes it easier to find in ones posts is all.
I've never thought that it meant anything more than that.

Public record? Really?! You did initially post that you'd take it. You then edited and removed the "I'll take it" from your posting and put "I'll tag it".
I saw your "I'll take it" with my own eyes. The seller had just listed the pair of items.

A man's word is the most valuable thing he has.
